Methods Participants:             The 36 participants in this study mostly consisted of college students from the University of Iowa ranging from freshman all the way up to seniors and grad students. There were also participants from other colleges in the state of Iowa such community colleges and a variety of four-year universities. Procedures:             The participants of this study were asked to answer a 7 question survey asking various questions surrounding the topic, " if the use of cell phones affect students in a negative way academically ". In order to receive the most accurate information possible, this survey was made anonymous.
