The genre of this source helps guide me into seeing how professionals in the field of business shape, voice and force their sentences. Active voice is used rather than passive because they would prefer to just get to the point and type a paragraph instead of getting into depth and typing an entire paper. To be effective in the business industry, you must use short and simple sentences, write from the companies point of view and avoiding nominalizing verbs. I plan on using this in my paper to help explain the format of properly writing and sentence structure in the business field. Business, especially Marketing, involves a lot of talking to various companies on a day to day basis and I believe this is an important aspect to understand.

This website shows an eleven step process that ranges from anything and everything that you need to know about writing an email in the business world. Business emails should be quite simple and one rule that is mentioned is the "One Thing" rule. This explains that when writing an email, only talk about one topic in the email so it's simple and right to the point. I plan on using this in my paper to help explain how to properly write an email in the field of business and explain the many steps in which you should take to make sure it's correct.

This site shows what the purpose of what writing letters is like and helps us understand that the main goal of writing letters in the business field. As well as making the reader understand and appreciate the benefits in which the writer wants. Letter format is a prominent topic in this article and helps explain what each paragraph should briefly cover and how to make it enjoyable for the reader. It compares and contrasts what textbooks would recommend and what they recommend to give us the best information possible. I plan on using this in my paper to help show how business writers format their letters and to further my knowledge to understand what is expected.
